DLI 2016, the 1st EAI International Conference on Design, Learning & Innovation, will take place in Esbjerg, Denmark on May 2-4, 2016.

Challenges in the fields of design, learning, and innovation are often approached by trans-disciplinary teams and solutions. Academics, designers, researchers, and practitioners with a background the fields of design, learning, and innovation towards creating, shaping, incubating playful learning designs, tools, technologies, experiences, processes, and outcomes will all participate in DLI 2016.

The conference invites contributors to submit papers, posters, workshops, and panel/symposium proposals on the following topics:

- Digital Games and Toys;

- Playful Designs;

- Theoretical frameworks;

- Innovation in design and learning;

- Design, learning and Innovation for specific purposes;

- New trends in formal and informal learning practices;

- Emerging tools and technologies in design, learning and innovation.

EAI publishes Proceedings of all its events with Springer LNICST; Proceedings are also included in EUDL (EAI open access digital library). Additionally, selected papers will be considered to be included in one of EAI Transactions. If you are planning a special issue in a journal, please specify the proposed title and the journal: ArtsIT, Interactivity, and Game Creation Special Issue International Journal Arts and Technology. Selected works will also appear in the International Journal of Arts and Technology (Inderscience) or the other journals mentioned at the site.

Important dates:

Paper submission deadline: January 6th, 2016

Acceptance Notification: January 15th, 2016

Camera-ready deadline: February 5th, 2016
