SmartGift 2016 calls for participation!

Participate in SmartGift 2016! The 1st EAI International Conference on Smart Grid Inspired Future Technologies will take place in Liverpool, Great Britain on May 19-20, 2016.

SmartGift 2016 will create a forum for researches, developers and practitioners from both academia and industry to publish the key results and to disseminate the state-of-the-art concepts and techniques in all aspects of Smart Grids.

The Conference will also host two workshops and a special session: the Workshop on Security, Flexibility and Demand Management in Smart Low Voltage Grids (Mas2tering Workshop), motivated by the need for Europe to transition its energy markets (generation, distribution and consumption) into smart energy systems; the International Workshop on Systems and Technology for Energy Management in Communication Networks (Stemcom 2016), with the theme ‘Sustainable Communications for Everyone, Everywhere!’ and the Special Session on Communications and Management of smart grid enabled cities, which has the objectives to identify and analyze the challenges in smart grid enabled cities.

But this is not all! The Conference will also host the ICT-driven Innovation for the Energy field Panel Session, where participants will have the possibility to discuss the potential for innovation derived by the connection of ICT technologies and the energy domain.

Furthermore, Prof. Vincent Wong (The University of British Columbia) will give a keynote speech entitled “Load Control and Demand Side Management in Smart Grid“.

For all its participant SmartGift 2016 has organized also a Social Dinner that will take place on Friday 20th May at Circo Liverpool Restaurant.
