The 10th EAI International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technologies for Healthcare (PervasiveHealth 2016), will take place on 16-19 May, 2016 in Cancún, Mexico.

PervasiveHealth 2016 sets itself as a premier international forum with specific focus on technologies and human factors related to the use of ubiquitous computing in healthcare and for wellbeing. The main goal of the conference is to take a multidisciplinary approach to Pervasive Healthcare Technology research and development.

The conference will host two great keynote speeches by: Prof. Alex Mihailidis (University of Toronto, Canada) with the title “Disruption Ahead:  Transforming Technology for Aging and Healthcare” and Mary Czerwinski (Visualization and Interaction (VIBE) Research Group), entitled “A New Era of Agency in Pervasive Health“.

PervasiveHealth 2016 will also host 5 workshops:

– Collaboration and Coordination in the Context of Informal Care: Pervasive Technology and Ethics (CCCiC 2016);

– ‘Pervasive Health Workshop on Affective Interaction with Virtual Assistants within the Healthcare Context’;

– International workshop on Open Data in Pervasive Health;

– Future of Pervasive Health Workshop;

– Designing the CORE: a platform for Connected and Open Research Ethics.
