FIOTA 2016 calls for papers!

InterIoT 2016

The 1st EAI International Conference on Future Internet and Internet of Things Applications (FIOTA 2016) will take place in Puebla, Mexico on 25-27 May, 2016 and it will be co-located with AFI360 Summit.

The rapid advancement of ubiquitous computation and mobile networks together are enabling technology advancements in the area of sensing, predicting and controlling of our physical spaces. Such technology advancements are nowadays deployed in a web based information creation and sharing platform to give form to what is now known as the Internet of Things. FIOTA 2016 is targeting academics from fields like AI, operations research, networks, multiagent systems and related.

The conference will be co-chaired by Prof. Enrique Munoz de Cote (INAOE, Mexico) and Prof. Alessandro Farinelli (University of Verona, Italy), and it welcomes papers about these topics of interest:

· Big data applications for IoT;
· Analytics;
· IoT architectures;
· Advanced data capture and network;
· Security of data;
· Enabling technologies;
· Application and services;
· Societal Impacts;
· Experimental results.

Accepted papers will be published in the FIoTA Conference Proceedings and by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST). Proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: DBLP, Google Scholar, Thomson Scientific ISI Proceedings, EI Elsevier Engineering Index, CrossRef, Scopus, as well as ICST’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL). Best Papers will be considered for publication in the ACM/Springer Mobile Networks and Applications Journal (MONET).

Full Paper Submission deadline: 15 December, 2015

Notification deadline: 25 February, 2016

Camera-ready deadline: 25 March, 2016
