The first International Conference on Cloud, Networking for IoT systems (CN4IoT) will take place on October 26-27 in Rome, Italy. The conference will be chaired by Prof. Villari – University of Messina, Italy – and will be co-located with the IOT360 Summit.
The mission of CN4IoT is to serve and promote ongoing research activities on the uniform management and operation related to software defined infrastructures. It aims to analyze limits and/or advantages in the exploitation of CN4IoT existing solutions developed for Cloud, Networking and IoT, and to present original and innovative contributions, where the explicit effort in at least two of the three main research fields introduces benefits and advantages clearly proven. Advances in ICT are changing the way we live and interact with each other, making our daily activities fast, easier and more reliable. People use multiple devices at once and keep their mobile devices nearby. Often, such devices have built-in sensors that measure motion, orientation, and environmental conditions, providing raw data with high precision and accuracy useful to monitor changes in the environment.
CN4IoT will focus on a wide range of topics such us Autonomic Management of Cloud networking, Software-Defined Datacenters and Inter-datacenter Networks, IoT Microservices, Networking and CloudLet computing and many more.
Participation in this event will give attendees the unique opportunity to be exposed to all technical scientific aspects of IoT related topic areas at co-located conferences, as well as be able to have full access to the IoT market place and business aspects in practice at the IOT 360 Summit.
Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal are very welcome. Submissions should clearly identify how they relate to Cloud Computing, Networking, and IoT (CN4IoT). Contributions describing an overall working system and reporting real world deployment experiences are particularly of interest.
Accepted papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST). The proceedings will be available both in book form and via the SpringerLink digital library, which is one of the largest digital libraries online and covers a variety of scientific disciplines.
The proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: DBLP, Google Scholar, Thomson Scientific ISI Proceedings, EI Elsevier Engineering Index, CrossRef, Scopus, as well as ICST’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL). The authors of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work through one of the following EAI endorsed publications: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Ubiquitous Environments.
