5Gu 2017, the 2nd edition of the EAI International conference on 5G for Ubiquitous Connectivity, will take place in Melbourne, Australia on 8-9 June 2017.
The aim of the Conference is to bring together researchers and developers as well as regulators and policymakers to present their latest views on 5G: potential disruptive technologies enabling 5G, spectrum policies for 5G, future business models, and of course, latest findings in key research activities on 5G.
The conference tracks include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
Track 1 – Spectrum Regulation & Standardization;
Track 2 – PHY & MAC;
Track 3 – Transceiver Technologies;
Track 4 – Future Access Networks;
Track 5 – Channel Models and MIMO Antennas;
Track 6 – Disruptive 5G Technologies.

Accepted papers will be published in the 5GU Conference Proceedings and by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST). Proceedings will be available both in book form and via the SpringerLink digital library, which is one of the largest digital libraries online and covers a variety of scientific disciplines. Proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: DBLP, Google Scholar, Thomson Scientific ISI Proceedings, EI Elsevier Engineering Index, CrossRef, Scopus, as well as ICST’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL). The authors of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work in the: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Cognitive Communications, EAI Endorsed Transactions on Future Internet or EAI Endorsed Transactions on Internet of Things.
