InterSol 2017 is calling for participants

The 1st EAI International Conference on Innovations and Interdisciplinary Solutions for Underserved Areas (InterSol 2017), will take place in Dakar, Senegal on 11-12 April 2017. The Conference will bring together technical experts and researchers from academia, industry, and government all around the world to discuss novel research results related to Innovations and Interdisciplinary Solutions for Underserved Areas.

We cordially invite you to participate at INTERSOL 2017.

The Interdisciplinary Solutions 2016 Conference also caters for a limited number of workshops on dedicated session topics. The aim of these workshops is to discuss work in progress and explore opportunities for new research related to a topic of interest within the context of the conference.

The first edition of the conference will focus on the following five main themes:

1-Innovative sustainable energy solutions and energy as a mean for economic development

2-ICT as an enabler for economic growth and social development in underserved areas

3-Improving sustainability concept in underserved areas

4-Innovation and Entrepreneurship in underserved areas

5-“Citizen” as leverage for scientific research and development in underserved areas

InterSol 2017 is proud to welcome Prof. Eric Brewer (Professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley) and Prof. Sanjay Misra (Covenant University, OTA, Nigeria) as keynote speakers.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world’s largest scientific libraries. Proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: Elsevier (EI), Thomson Scientific (ISI), Scopus, Crossref, Google Scholar, DBLP. Authors of the Best Papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work through one of the EAI Endorsed Publications. We are delighted to announce the collaboration with the African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development. AJSTID is a multi-disciplinary and refereed international journal with a particular focus on science, technology, and innovation in developing economies, with a special reference to Africa.
